I’m an oceanographer based at the Washington State University, Vancouver, specialising in ocean biogeochemistry and mathematical modelling. My research draws on many different subdisciplines within marine science and addresses a broad range of topics, from human impacts on the ocean (e.g., coastal dead zones, invasive species) to fundamental questions of how geochemistry and biological communities interact. Details of past and ongoing projects can be found on my research page
