I’m a Biogeochemical Modeller based at Washington State University, Vancouver. My research often focuses on pressing environmental issues, such as coastal eutrophication and invasive species, drawing on a wide variety of fields including geochemistry, microbiology, physical oceanography, and benthic ecology. Using mathematical models, I synthesize these diverse aspects of environmental biogeochemistry in order to analyse present day and past conditions, predict future conditions, and assess remediation and mitigation strategies.
